Hmm, I see.
Thank you for the feedback. We will be incorporating plenty of Zelda (I believe, as an added bonus, we will be performing the dungeon theme to the original Zelda I game for NES in a bossa style in a couple weeks at Walden's). I'm actually in the process of writing a large arrangement of Wind Waker.
I'm pretty self conscious about writing much Final Fantasy because I, personally, listen to nothing *but* Final Fantasy soundtracks, so I feel like writing too much of it would transfer my obsession haha. It's more complicated than it sounds. I plan to incorporate plenty in the future. Our previous concert included three tunes from FFVI (Terra's theme, Relm's theme, and Searching for Friends) and we will probably do something similar. I honestly would like to perform the first Dissidia's Ending Theme, incorporating all 12 melodies into one piece, it's rather beautiful.
I do wish to stray away from many of the "classics," however. I have heard so many recordings of "Man with the Machine Gun," I do not wish to add our own to the mix just yet.
I do not agree much with the orchestration of Green Hill Zone presented by Oliver Sirois, but this song has been presented to us before in polls and feedback, so I believe we will have to say Challenge Accepted to this. It will be difficult to put something together I'll approve of, but I'll get on it. I would like to take it up to speed and, most likely for interest, incorporate another theme into the second or third time through.
Lastly, the next big pieces we have been told to do are Wind Waker (probably going to do Staff Credits) and Metal Gear Solid 3 (most definitely Snake Eater as soon as we audition a good vocalist).
