RVGO is giving away one $10 Steam game to a random fan for every 100 likes we get on Facebook (maximum three prizes). Like us and spread the word to triple your chances of winning.

Now for a question I can not seem to find an answer for:

Is FFXIV worth coming back to, coming from an FFXI veteran of 7 years? I tried it for a couple months over the summer, but I've since quit both games and find myself spending hours arranging music, only to end up with several more hours without anything to do.

Or should I play something else?

IMO best to play something else. Unless you absolutely love grinding(OR GOOBBUES!) there really isn't much to do on it, there is 2 bosses(like world bosses I guess?) and 1 timed dungeon at the level cap. And there is only a couple 100 players on each server so crafting is quite annoying(and levelling anything unless you level a crafting class along with it).

In the future though, it'll definately be worth playing. ;)

EDIT: Actually with the patch coming out at the end of Feb/ early March there seems to be ALOT to do and the temp server merges shortly after that. So if you enjoy the combat and crafting, now would be a good time to start again. Cheesy
