IRC Chat room and Commands

You can register your name at the IRC chat room with a password. The command is a bit arcane and not automated.

/msg NickServ REGISTER  ..name..  ..youremail.com..

After you reply to the email you can then sign on with a password using your irc client.

If you Mod then you have to have Tebian do the command /msg chanserv FLAGS #ffradio <name> +O

Some of the other commands you can use now are listed at  /msg NickServ HELP [command]

ACC             Displays parsable session information
 ACCESS          Changes and shows your nickname access list.
 DROP            Drops an account registration.
*FDROP           Forces dropping an account registration.
*FREEZE          Freezes an account.
*FUNGROUP        Forces removal of a nickname from an account.
*FVERIFY         Forcefully verifies an account registration.
 GHOST           Reclaims use of a nickname.
 GROUP           Adds a nickname to your account.
 HELP            Displays contextual help information.
 IDENTIFY        Identifies to services for a nickname.
 INFO            Displays information on registrations.
 LIST            Lists nicknames registered matching a given pattern.
 LISTCHANS       Lists channels that you have access to.
 LISTMAIL        Lists accounts registered to an e-mail address.
 LOGOUT          Logs your services session out.
*MARK            Adds a note to a user.
 REGAIN          Regain usage of a nickname.
 REGISTER        Registers a nickname.
 RELEASE         Releases a services enforcer.
*RESETPASS       Resets an account password.
*RETURN          Returns an account to its owner.
 SENDPASS        Email registration passwords.
 SET             Sets various control flags.
 SETPASS         Changes a password using an authcode.
 STATUS          Displays session information.
 TAXONOMY        Displays a user's metadata.
 UNGROUP         Removes a nickname from your account.
 VACATION        Sets an account as being on vacation.
 VERIFY          Verifies an account registration.

Chanserv command are the same and most are built into your irc clients, but here is a list.

AKICK           Manipulates a channel's AKICK list.
 BAN             Sets a ban on a channel.
 CLEAR           Channel removal toolkit.
 CLOSE           Closes a channel.
 COUNT           Shows number of entries in access lists.
 DEOP            Removes channel ops from a user.
 DEVOICE         Removes channel voice from a user.
*DF              Fudge-style dice generation.
 DROP            Drops a channel registration.
 FDROP           Forces dropping of a channel registration.
 FLAGS           Manipulates specific permissions on a channel.
 FTRANSFER       Forces foundership transfer of a channel.
 GETKEY          Returns the key (+k) of a channel.
 HELP            Displays contextual help information.
 INFO            Displays information on registrations.
 INVITE          Invites you to a channel.
 KICK            Removes a user from a channel.
 KICKBAN         Removes and bans a user from a channel.
 LIST            Lists channels registered matching a given pattern.
 MARK            Adds a note to a channel.
*NAMEGEN         Generates some names to ponder.
 OP              Gives channel ops to a user.
 RECOVER         Regain control of your channel.
 REGISTER        Registers a channel.
*ROLL            Rolls one or more dice.
 SET             Sets various control flags.
 STATUS          Displays your status in services.
 TAXONOMY        Displays a channel's metadata.
 TEMPLATE        Manipulates predefined sets of flags.
 TOPIC           Sets a topic on a channel.
 TOPICAPPEND     Appends a topic on a channel.
 TOPICPREPEND    Prepends a topic on a channel.
 UNBAN           Removes a ban on a channel.
 VOICE           Gives channel voice to a user.
 WHY             Explains channel access logic.
