It took me about 40+ hours to get the Ultima Weapon in Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2.

Yup I did get the ultima weapon once on both KHI and KHII, but that was a long time ago. Can't remember how long it took me, and seeming the weapons aren't all that strong compared to the second in line I never got them again

Kh2 ultima weapon is so damn easy to get... and kh1 ultima weapon took bout 1hour for me (To collect materials)

Umm kh2 weapon has MP HASTEGA, very helpful ability, and kh1 ultima weapon is just kickass with 2mp plus and highest str in the game

Ultima weapon took me longer in Kh1 than Kh2. The only problem is that when you want 7 Orichalcums+ it says you need 13. If you don't know how to devide all materials in two, that's a problem.

Never managed to get the ultimate weapon. Wife caught me playing "her game" (she wanted it for the Disney characters but never played it for long) and gave me grief over it so I never managed to finish it.

Yes, I got the weapons on all my playthroughs. Can't remember how long it took me, but it didn't take long at all.
