Any Theories about Mysterious Figure?

So I was playing Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and I battled Mysterious Figure (And lost, obviously). As I was playing, I just kept wondering to myself: Who is this guy? So I looked around various sites and found no answer. HOWEVER I did find out that Nomura explained that Mysterious Figure is in fact someone we do not know yet. This statement definitely proves that the "Xehanort's son", "Xehanort when he was young", "Xehanort from the future", "Winnie the Pooh", and "Kairi's grandma" claims are incorrect. So now that it has been confirmed that MF is someone that we do not know, anybody have any theories about this guy's role in the Kingdom Hearts Series?

I believe that he's somebody who travels around to test the skills of keyblade wielders. If that were the case, then I highly believe he will be revealed in Kingdom Hearts 3DS and he will be an obstacle and test the skills of Sora and Riku who are trying to complete the Mark of Mastery.

Anybody else have any ideas?

thats a huge mystery   ,will mysterious figure be the enemy in future game like xemnas or will he be a playable character like terra?both terra and xemnas were the secret bosses from kh1 fm and kh2 fm.Also nice thread tailoni ,i added some photos and set it sticky

ROFL that picture made me laugh xD In my opinion I can see him actually assisting Sora and Riku when they defeat him or "pass" his test or something...

Well i have been thinking about the mysterious figure and i think that maybe he can be a time traveler,i know it sounds silly but during the battle he has an attack in which he freezes time and the keyblade you get when you defeat him has the clock symbol and as we all know each keyblade has a symbol like xehanorts and vanitas keyblades have symbols of the darkness and soras and mickeys symbols of the light
