Final Fantasy XII is one of my favorite games of all time. The second Final Fantasy would be FFIX.

VII did it for me.  Grin Although X and IX come close respectively.

I'm going with FF6.
I liked 7, 8, and 11, but taking "inflation" (console power) into account I think 6 tops it.
11 is my second favorite. 7 and 8 tie for third.

Has to be FFIX !! Just look at this ending and tell me that it was not a journey to get there....

All alone at 2am, in the dark.. and this starts. Has to be on of the most emotional moments in any game...

FINAL FANTASY IX ED

need i say more...

Sakaguchi in 1995, became President at Square USA, Inc. His final role as game producer was for Final Fantasy IX. In an interview at the time he described it as his favourite Final Fantasy

ahh yes, me and my amazing anti-mainstreamness tongue
i actually didn't like 6-9 very much, nothing to do with them being the most popular, so don't say it's that. i just didn't like them, hell i couldn't even finished 9 XD

why does no one like the clasics? Cry

The classics may be too old. Not anyone know them. FF became famous mostly with the 7th. It came out on PS1 and it had a good storyline, and it was graphically better than the previous ones. And now, there are still many people who don't know about the FF before the 7th. I know a little bit about the stories of the FF before the 6th, thanks to dissidia. But I will play them one day.
So which ones of the classics do you prefer?
