Nintendo has done it again. They've filled the bright and shiny platforming void in our lives with an amazing little game called Super Mario Galaxy 2. But of course, nothing's perfect. And even with all the praise that Adam has for it, there are some tiny issues that he thinks could improve the experience, which he will proceed to explain in this week's Sessler's Soapbox. Were you totally satisfied with your Mario experience? Or would you like to see some similar improvements?

:/ When are they going to kill off the mario series...? It's just been WAY too milked. They've been doing it for just about 50 years now >.>
Nintendo needs newer franchise... I'm kinda losing faith in Nintendo :/

One thing I like that the guy said was getting rid of the lives. It just kinda makes sense to me... I dunno.. also the pro-mote. heck yes!

Nah Mario is fine! Super Mario Sunshine was pretty bad but with Galaxy they revived mario platformer and made it work. Mario Kart, the Sonic vs Mario at the Olympics.. gosh it sells so good! U have no idea. 100 weeks in a row was this game in top 10 most sold videogames in Holland. Mario will never die!!

The last Mario I loved was Mario 64. Galaxy just struck me as more of the same. I like platform games enough to not outright avoid them. I don't really support getting rid of "lives" any more than I support the "no child left behind" schooling approach. You either get better or you repeat the grade.

Sunshire was bad?! It is my favorite Super Mario game, its got the best gameplay, story and music and it was pretty difficult too.
